Xbox 360 Elite features new heatsinks, less red rings?

Console mod guru Ben Heck took apart his Xbox 360 Elite recently and, lo and behold, it has some beefier cooling hardware than the original.

Many speculated that red ring issues and other crashes in the original Xbox 360 were due to heat or defective solder, so let’s hope that these changes help prevent the problems in the future.

See Ben Heck’s site for the full report.
