Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, for the final day of QuakeCon 2007 brought to you by GGL Wire. First, let me address some of the whining and crying so you can get it straight from the horse’s mouth. We know the VODs are running laggy due to a technical problem. Several of our personnel pulled an all-nighter to get things working properly for the brackets in the Quad Damage tournament and the ET:QW grand final. I saw some comments here and there saying that coverage is terrible, but the truth is that technical problems inside and outside the tournament put the kibosh on fancy results. QuakeCon admins have been working round the clock to fix the problem(s), and now that we’re into bracket play everything is running smoothly. Those guys never get enough credit for doing what they do, and it’s not their fault to begin with. Without volunteer admins, there would not be a QuakeCon. Period. End of story. So chill out for a while and understand that they’re working as hard as possible to make everything run smoothly. We’ve got a load of interviews, matches, and the Carmack keynote speech coming to you. Today: Quad Damage tournament brackets / finals Enemy Territory: Quake Wars final Now: Enjoy these photos of the event.
Setting up for the keynote. That leg is Paul “Locki” Wedgewood’s, by the way.
A few roundtables to close down Friday night.

cK-relic from back in the day (not cK anymore!)
Someone had a steamy night in Slasher’s bathroom…
I found these guys this morning. They passed out after playing Oregon Trail. No s***.
