After a week or two of speculation and leaks, Microsoft finally confirmed today that the Xbox 360 price cut is official.
Each 360 SKU is dropping in price. Check out the rundown:
Xbox 360 Elite: $449 ($30 cut)
Xbox 360 Premium: $349.99 ($50 cut)
Xbox 360 Core: $279.99 ($20 cut)
Combined with a few must-have titles this Christmas, we may see Xbox sales rise significantly. The Core system is only $30 more than the Wii now, though it’s necessary to point out that it includes none of the accessories that are selling points of the 360 platform.
