XBLRadio alleges that nationwide electronics retailer Best Buy is tacking a $3 “tax” to Xbox 360 accessories, in anticipation of the release of Halo 3 on September 25.

The conspiracy theory is that Best Buy wants to make a couple of extra bucks on people who rush in next months to grab up Halo 3.
