For the first time in years, Jang “Spirit Moon” JeaHo has qualified for the World Cyber Games finals in Warcraft 3. The Meet Your Makers Night Elf player beat Jang “WhO” Du Sub for his berth in the finals. Moon’s previous appearance in the WCG was in 2004, when he lost to Hwang “Zacard” Tae Min in the playoffs.
The highest earning Warcraft 3 player this year only needed two maps to defeat WhO and beat him on Terenas Stand and Twisted Meadows. Yesterday, June “Lyn” Park qualified by beating Lee “SoJu” Seong Deok. SoJu and WhO will play a consolation final for third place.
The World Cyber Games finals takes place in Seattle, on October 3-7.

Now there’s a Carmac headline if ever I’ve heard one.
Moon’s been doing really well this year, around 10 or so 1st place finishes, but he’s had a few bad performances (bad for moon) as well. I guess it just depends on how focused and prepared he is.
Anyway… up yours Carmac, Grubby is winning it. :D
I guess I will have to search through my tapes to prove my point. So be it.
A wager then, 10 euros? Whoever places higher wins it, you’ve got paypal right?
I’m not betting against Grubby. I like Grubby!
C’mon, it’ll make it more exciting!
Heh, it will make me cheer against Grubby ;P Why would I want to do that?
i think the korean’s still own white dudes, but grubby might do it! i’d love to see them showdown in the finals!
