WCG Korea for StarCraft, the fiercest World Cyber Games qualifier, is now almost down to the final four. The players that will battle for three tickets to the finals in Seattle are Hwasin, Stork and sAviOr. Either Free or Sea will join the club tomorrow.
Not one of the players that qualified for the WCG last year, incidentally, they took all three medals for StarCraft, will make it to the WCG this year. The 2006 gold medalist IloveOOv and the bronze medalist Midas were knocked out in the top 16.
Last year’s runner up JulyZerg did not make it past the quarterfinal stage, as he lost 2-1 to Stork today. Stork will play the winner of Free vs. Sea for a berth in the WCG finals.
The most celebrated player still left in the tournament is the Blizzcon 2007 champion, sAviOr, who beat Light 2-1. For his spot in Seattle, the top-ranked Korean by KeSPA will play Hwasin.
The losers of both semi finals will play a match for the third and final ticket to the World Cyber Games. The qualifier ends this Sunday.

would love to see savior in Seattle, he’s a god among SC players. BTW you can catch korean-language coverage of the WCG Korea qualifier on sc2.org where MBC and OGN are streamed live 24/7
I can’t watch SC without Tasteless…. :p
I can’t cast SC without Tasteless
^Check out Klazart (youtube account KlazartSC) - he is really good at commentating.
The qualifiers are now done, here’s the Korean lineup for WCG Starcraft:
1) Hwasin - T
2) Stork - P
3) Savior - Z
Incidentally, there’s a 99% chance that this will also be the top 3 at the grand final (though the order may vary), as these three players are pretty close to being the best in the world in their respective races at the moment.
