While N+ has always been as a Web-based flash game, Atari is bringing this popular puzzle and physics game to the Sony PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS. I had a chance to test out both versions and both were actually very refreshing and get this, fun. Take a look.
Described as going back to the basics as far as videogames, Atari says they are including not only the classic version of the game, but also a new and improved look as well — both modes will be made available for fans. The game itself will pack in 250+ levels and even a level editor. There will even be an original soundtrack by Five Limbs.
One of the better parts about the game is the fact that users can create and share, via online on the PSP and DS, their created levels — PSP users can download and save, while DS users will lose those levels once they turn off their system.
There are two different play types available online — co-op and competitive. But, like I said, downloadable content seems to be where the real action will be for this title.

Playing the role of a little ninja, you move your character around a world filled with tiny obstacles while all the while playing with the physics of the game. In fact, it’s pretty much a physics game — bounce, jump and dodge your way in and out of each level. There aren’t any real goals, you just need to exit the level before time runs out — collect little gold coins to extend your time limit.
Moving around the levels was easy and fairly entertaining. While it is simple, sometimes simple is all you need to make a great pick-up-and-play title. The game will retail between $20-$30, Atari said, and should be available in January for both handheld systems — an XBLA version is coming out this fall.
