“to prevent confusion about my vehicle response: nobody needs more than ONE vehicle type for each air, ground and stationary. all the cars and shit are way too similar and all not really easy to handle. i think epic just wants to have a share of the Halo share and will try to sell it like they tried in UT2K3: you buy the game, click on multiplayer and get directed to the Onslaught/Warfare mod. instead of making a damn good DM game.”

well the onslaught and whatever is what appeals to noobs, so thats what they showcase… but about ut3 i havent heard anything about making sure the core gameplay is done well such as dm like they did for 2k3/2k4… hopefully we get some nice dm stuff and not have it break the community so badly by having 400 different DM 1v1 configs…..

have no fear their is no way, this game can do as bad as quake 4 did. This will be the dominant game for 1v1 unless some giant sponsor pulls a painkiller…
