HeatoN to manage Stockholm for CGS
The Championship Gaming Series has announced today that the legendary Counter-Strike player Emil “HeatoN” Christensen will be the General Manager of the Stockholm CGS franchise.
After the Electronic Sports World Cup in July this year, HeatoN retired from his active gaming career and focused on coaching and managing Ninjas in Pyjamas. His involvement with the CGS may mean that the current NiP CS team will also be a part of the CGS, as was the case with Jason Lake’s compLexity and Dave “moto” Geffon’s Team 3D.
We will find out for sure on September 23, the day of the European and U.K. CGS draft. The name of the GM for the Berlin CGS franchise has not been announced yet.
