Gaming leftovers: Halo 3, Godzilla, Tony Hawk and more
It’s that time again! Check out the daily game announcements and trailers that didn’t get on the website earlier in the day.
Godzilla: Unleashed attacks Tokyo — and PlayStation 2
Atari is bringing Godzilla: Unleashed to the PlayStation 2, with at least 20 of your favorite movie monsters and four-man multiplayer. Tokyo will get the hammer (again) in this game. I was always a big Godzilla buff, so I’ll check this one out. If you grew up on Godzilla, you may be interested too.
SNK brings Neo Geo arcade titles to Wii Virtual Consoles
SNK is bringing Fatal Fury, World Heroes, Art of Fighting and more to the Wii Virtual Console. All titles are to cost 900 Wii points, or $9.00 each.
Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground demo hits Xbox LIVE
The demo for Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground is now available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. If you download and play it, you get a special code to enter at www.thpgonline.com for a chance to win a trip to the 2007 Action Sports Awards in Los Angeles, CA. Of course, I live in Los Angeles now, so this is irrelevant to me, but if you want to visit the land of traffic and palm trees, hit the Web site. Grab the demo and keep it in your mind to compare to EA Skate, too.
WWE videogame accessories on the way from Game On
In case you’re a big Kurt Angle fan (face it, who isn’t?), Game On sent along word today that they’re making an Xbox 360 faceplate as well as skin bundles for the 360, PlayStation 2 and Wii. A special PS2 Wireless Controller is in the works also, featuring Batista and Undertaker, who is about 90 years old now.
Monster Madness coming to PlayStation 3
Monster Madness fans, take heart! Your favorite series is coming to the PlayStation 3 in the form of Monster Madness: EX. The game features four player co-op.
Last but not least, check out this Halo 3 “Starcraft” promotional video from Korea.

Godzilla: Unleashed attacks Tokyo
I might give that a bash, I haven’t played a Godzilla game since I was like 5, playing it on the NES.
Good times.
