Nerf Warlocks! WoW balance changes mapped
The boys over at We Can Fix That with Data mapped out World of Warcraft balance changes since the game’s release, and they came to the inevitable conclusion that Warlocks are overpowered.
Actually, that’s not what they found. While the data is descriptive, the comparisons between classes have a fatal flaw: the buffs and nerfs are not given any weight. So you can see that Druids have received the most buffs, but not if that’s just rebalancing to bring them level with other classes.
Still, it’s an interesting exercise that shows just how many little changes have been made to the game since it was in beta. WoW is a constant exercise in game balancing, and unlike single-player or even many multiplayer games, every little addition has a ripple effect across the game world.

I think the flaw in this buff vs nerf is how people see different changes. Some people see the resilience change a nerf, some say it’s a buff.
