Stork climbs on top of KeSPA ranking

The Korean eSports Players Association has published October’s edition of their StarCraft rankings. On top of it for this month is Song “Stork” Byung Goo, but only 2.4 points ahead of Kim “Bisu” Taek Yong.

The KeSPA ranking one of the most prestigious rankings in competitive gaming in general, even though it is only for players that play in professional StarCraft leagues in South Korea. Regularly televised, those happen to be the most lucrative and the most difficult in esports.

Those that attend the World Cyber Games finals in Seattle on October 3-7 will see the ranking’s leader in action, along with the July ranking’s number one Ma “sAviOr” Jae Yoon and the current number five of the ranking, Jin “Hwasin” Yung Soo.

The current top 10 of the rankings is as follows:

1. Stork (+1) 1728.3 points
2. Bisu (-1) 1725.9
3. sAviOr (-) 1570.5
4. IriS (-) 1387.8
5. Hwasin (-) 1307.2
6. Sea (+1) 1202.9
7. NaDa (-1) 1193.5
