Gamers have been salivating over the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, supposedly the first game to let you use your Wii Remote to control a lightsaber.
In fact, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga comes out next month, beating Force Unleashed by at least a fiscal quarter. And the new LEGO Star Wars does in fact let you swing your ’saber with your condom-covered Wiimote.

The Wii controller offers all sorts of new, fun and accessible ways for people to play with Lego characters – and swinging away with your lightsaber is a brilliantly cool part of the Lego Jedi experience. Vader’s new Force Choke/Force Throw move has a particularly big impact, when you’re flinging enemies around using the Wii controller. Of course we hope The Complete Saga can hit the Christmas number one spot, but there are many other strong titles on the horizon. We’ll have to wait and see.
