A warning to all intending to compete in this:
Due to both CPL Australia and CPL Brazil being canceled for this years World Tour in FEAR for the Xbox 360, I am out $2750 in non-refundable airfare expenses. Thus far, the CPL has refused to assist with those expenses at all. This doesn’t even mention my share of the cost associated with having two Swedes (Tr0nic and Jagad) staying with me for a month after CPL Dallas to bootcamp in preperation for this event or the lost time put into the game.
In other words: Be prepared in case “Go Pro, Get Screwed” happens to you in this CPL event! After all, nothing stops them from cutting the prize purse or canceling it entirely on a whim.
Sorry to hear about it Bluewolf.
I was suprised when I heard Fatal1ty make the switch to commentating but maybe he knew something before the rest of us did. WSVG canceled and CPL World Tour stops nixed.
Should we add clairvoyant to his list of world titles? :P
