Sony games losing money
Sony’s gaming unit initially predicted they would lose ¥50 million in the year ending March 2008. Then a week ago, they said they would break even.
Now the facts are in — Sony published their yearly financial report. They are losing ¥100 million.
The reason given is the lower retail pricing of the PlayStation 3 console.
If you’re a Sony fanboy, here are some ways you can help Sony not go out of business:
- Buy a separate, dedicated PS3 for each game you own.
- Send Sir Howard Stringer a check for $10,000.
- Buy every movie in UMD format. Refuse to watch movies that aren’t in that format.
- Tell everyone that Spiderman 3 was a great movie. You know, lie.
- Buy anything that gets a good review from David Manning.
