One week after the dissolution of Fnatic’s Warcraft 3 team, only one of its players is still unemployed. Teams aspiring to qualify for the Warcraft 3 Champions League have torn apart Fnatic’s remains like piranhas.
The killing blow dealt to Fnatic came when Fnatic’s best players received offers from other teams. Robert “Rob” Abdrakhmanov and Mikhail “XyLigan” Ryabkov left for Gravitas Gaming and moved in with their team mates in Moscow. Juha-Matti “Satiini” Bäckström joined up with Mortal TeamWork.
The leave of the above players caught Kevin “RotterdaM” van der Kooi and Radoslav “DieSeL” Kolev unawares, but RotterdaM has already found a new home. The second best Dutch Warcraft 3 player will join with the Dutch team Serious Gaming. DieSeL is the one player still without a team.
By signing RotterdaM, Serious Gaming are hoping to improve enough to be able to qualify for the WC3L. Gravitas and mTw have got the very same hopes.
