GGL’s Jason Lee filed this Warcraft III report.
This year’s Warcraft 3 Champions League Finals will feature Kevin “Rotterdam” van der Kooi shoutcasting matches in English. Rotterdam is currently a top Orc player hailing from the Netherlands, and said in a statement:
“When TaKe heard I would come to the WC3L Finals as an observer he asked if I was interested in doing something with coverage, which sounded perfect for me. I could cry about imbalance as a neutral shoutcaster; that’s just a dream that comes true. I’m looking forward to the finals and hope it will be a nice show with great games.”
Rotterdam recently joined up with Serious Gaming’s Warcraft III team after the breakup of fnatic’s WC3 squad. He also placed 4th at GGL’s DigitalLife Pro/Am Tournament.
Shoutcasts for the WC3L XII Finals will be provided in both English and German. Details for the full event can be found at the ESL WC3L Finals landing page.
