The Player Awards for the Warcraft 3 Champions League season XII have been announced during the WC3L finals in Cologne last weekend. SK Gaming’s June “Lyn” Park was named Most Valuable Player, HyoSub “FoCuS” Eom (Meet Your Makers) won the Most Improved Player title and Jang “WhO” Du Sub (Beijing eSports Team) got the Rookie of the Season award.
The awards were decided by the results of polling the community, the WC3L team admins and the WC3L admins, each group having 1/3 of the influence. Interestingly, all of the awarded players were Orcs, that is a race commonly seen as weaker compared to the Night Elf and Human races in Warcraft 3.
