Pandemic has added another title to their World of Warcraft 3v3 Arena trophy cabinet by winning ESL’s WoW 3v3 tournament at DreamHack. MoB’s TurtleForce and TurtlePower took second and third place, respectively.

The American team has got an impeccable record in the game. They have won every single event for 3v3 that they entered. But in Sweden, the lineup of Nathan “Kintt” Quinn, Greg “Ecilam” Risselada and Mason “Nitrana” Groendal came closer to defeat than ever - they lost the upper bracket semi final but came back to win the grand final in two sets.
Despite predictions that the game would be one-sided, the final was a nailbiter. The first set went down to the last map and ended with a 3-2 score, the teams changing their compositions between rounds. The teams were level and at that moment one would expect that MoB would lose its faith, but the second set was just as thrilling. Pandemic went 1-0 up, MoB made it 2-1 and Pandemic won both rounds to win the grand prize.
It was the most important tournament victory for Pandemic’s WoW division, as it was the most lucrative one and at a competition that closed the season.
Final standings:
1) Team Pandemic - $45,000
2) MoB TurtleForce - $22,500
3) MoB TurtlePower - $7,500
4) Fnatic.Insurrection
5-6) SK Gaming, Team EG
7-8) Fnatic.Oldskool, Meet Your Makers

It’s misleading to say “Pandemic win $75,000 tourney” because the statement “So, Pandemic won $75,000?” is implied.
Yes, the CPL used it. But it’s marketing and is misleading.
Btw, you interviewed Paradoks?

I have interviewed ParadokS. As for the headline, I think it’s pretty much a standard in gaming by now to phrase it this way.
