KeSPA rankings: Bisu on top, Mind jumps 35 spots

The end of year StarCraft rankings have been released by the Korean e-Sports Players’ Association, and while Bisu retained his first place spot, Terran wunderkind Mind advanced 35 places.

Mind recently beat star players iloveoov, sAviOr and Bisu to win this past MSL, stunning fans worldwide. The 16-year-old excelled despite his many doubters, and reached 20th place to close out 2007. Mind still has a long way to go to crack the top 10, but we’ll have to wait until next year to see if he can do it.

While sAviOr didn’t change spots, his future in the top ten is questionable if his mixed play over the last few months continues. Pundits have already written off sAviOr as no longer being a “bonjwa,” or undisputed top player. We’ll see if he can regain the crown in 2008.
