The 1on1 series is making a comeback at GGL Wire with another interview. This time the victim is Sujoy Roy, the General Manager of London Mint.

I wouldn’t be as uninterested in cgs if they featured a 1on1 FPS(preferrably a Quake game), I’m kinda wondering what kind of impact team managers have on the selection of games in the cgs, although i can already guess it’s probably next to nothing.

Didn’t like it and I’ll tell you why. Sujoy knows the CGS is treading on one too many toes and he doesn’t want to be held accountable for saying something potentially intelligent. Like the CGS format or game selection goes against, what, ten or more years of established eSports? Next time a CGS show is on Sky One or Sky Sports, I’m going to pop to my local sports bar or pub and ask everyone what they think of the show and the idea of eSports in general. I expect the ratings aren’t as lucrative as once envisioned.
