If you are interested in Quake or want to follow up on competitive coverage, you should check out Quakers Week. The picture on top is a Quake-based origami and you like it, you should definitely visit Captin Nod’s homepage.
The fifth issue brings you info about all Quake scenes and most tournaments that are right now played. If you don’t care about playing Quake but you are curious about current state of these lengendary games, you might also like some new movies from Quake 3. If you are lucky enough that you already know Quake, some demos might come in real handy.
For all of you that would like to try one of Quake games and you don’t want to pay for the new game, you can download nQuake and join a team tourney for Rookies in NQR. You will be added to new team and meet new friend at IRC channel #qwrookie and maybe you will know something more about QuakeWorld. Wanna play?
Also, in other Quake games, there are some interesting new tournaments that you might join or follow. Quake 4 and Quake 2 are continuing in on-line leagues like the Quake Nations Cup.
From Quake 3, there’s a Week 1 Demo Package consisting of all matches in MVD.
As a bonus and invitation for the Week 2 Demo Package I would like to show you a demo by fojji on the map Q3DM7 against team Italy with Polterizer in the lineup. Read the match report.
Good Luck & Have Fun!
