Valve is now adding many of Atari’s PC titles to its digital distribution service, Steam. The current list of titles include:

  • Act of War: Direct Action
  • Act of War: High Treason
  • ArmA: Combat Operations
  • Atari 80 Classics in 1
  • Death to Spies
  • Desperados 2: Cooper’s Revenge
  • Indigo Prophecy
  • RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Platinum
  • Tycoon City: New York

Valve mentioned that The Witcher, Neverwinter Nights 2 and its expansion Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer, will also be coming online shorty.

I have to give my props to Valve. Every time a new company teams up with them to release its games via Steam, I feel that we as PC gamers are moving on to a new era. Keep up the good work.

Don´t prop valve, they´re the worst Game Center friendly companie ever, and with this we´re not moving a step forward but backward in the gaming industry (at least in the game center side), just check igames.org, like 90% of the game centers don´t have valve games, why? because of their bad licensing program, I think we have to look over Korea/Asian countries, to see where really gaming is moving forward to, but not valve.

in countries where game centers are not popular (any large, geographically spread out country basically), steam is among the easiest ways to play PC games with your friends. that’s why people are in love with it.
