Today Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment announced that the Stargate SG-1 based MMORPG, Stargate Worlds, is ready to enter the beta stage. If you are interested in giving Stargate Worlds a chance, beta sign-ups are going on right now. Just head over to www.StargateWorlds.com and register. Unfortunately only a select few will get into the beta.

Today Activision announced the 15 song tracklist for the upcoming Nintendo DS exclusive Guitar Hero: On Tour. Activision previously announced that the game would have 25 songs, making this announcement a little strange. Hopefully the other 10 song will show up as unlockable tracks or something.

Today, Bioware announced that when you pre-order the PC version of Mass Effect from the EA Store, you will get both the first issue of the Dead Space comic book and a Dead Space poster. Sounds pretty good, epically to a comic book nerd like myself.
I must say, this is quite a strange marketing ploy, but seeing as I plan on picking both up, this deal suits me just fine.

As I am sure many of you have discovered, as you eagerly unwrapped your long preordered copies of Grand Theft Auto IV, packaged with the game is a free month of Xbox Live Gold. Activision and GGL have announced that the final round of the Soldier of Fortune Payback Ultimate Mercenary Tournament will air Sunday, April 27 at 2PM ET on GameplayHD.
The tournament saw team Six Feet Under and HOLY Alpha go at it for $15,000 in cash and prizes. In the end, Matt “Dark Zone” Tubbs and Patrick “Pat Dark” O’Day went at it for the title of Ultimate Mercenary.

For a mere 200 Microsoft Points ($2.50) you can get the “Triple Bonus Pack” for Lost Odyssey. The pack includes ‘Memory Lamp,’ which allows you to view past scenes, ‘Shattered Bond,’ an antique that will bring back memories of a forgotten dream, and a ring called ‘Killer Machine.’ As someone who never played Lost Odyssey, I am assuming that this makes sense to those who are familiar with the game.
