Grand Theft Auto IV multiplayer detailed

Today, more details on Grand Theft Auto IV’s multiplayer were released. Four of the fifteen game modes were detailed. There will be the classic Team Deathmatch, GTA Race, Cops ‘N Crooks (think Counter-Strike) and Hangman’s Noose (co-op escort missions). Other details released are:

• Confirmed 16 player online play.
• The online map is the same as the singleplayer map.
• There will be no co-op for singleplayer missions, however there are many co-op multiplayer modes.
• Ranked online games earn you money for character customization.
• Races can be played with or without guns.
• Voice chat volume depends on how close players are to you.
