Today Neversoft detailed the next batch of Guitar Hero III DLC. Taking a more mellow note, the next song pack will feature the work of Coldplay. The song pack, due out Tuesday, June 17, will feature “Violet Hill”, “God Put a Smile Upon Your Face” and “Yellow”. Neversoft hasn’t announced a price yet.
Personally I think this is a bad move by Neversoft. The Guitar Hero I remember featured guitar heavy rock songs, not soft rock. If Guitar Hero wants to compete with Rock Band they should start putting out good DLC. I’m still waiting on an Isis or Agalloch pack. At least throw in some Hammerfall.
