Rock Band 2 facts database

With the recent announcement of Rock Band 2, each day brings more and more information on Harmonix’s new title. In order to help keep the facts straight, I am going to compile a list of everything that has been officially announced.
- Rock Band songs will automaticly transfer over to RB2 for free.
- RB2 is arriving on Xbox 360 in September. Every other iteration will be coming later this year.

- The new guitar and drums will be compatible with Rock Band, and vice versa. The new guitar has been revamped with a sturdier strum bar and quieter buttons. The drums will come with a metal kick drum pad, quieter pads and velocity sensors. Both the guitar and drum kit will be wireless.
- The game will include new mini-campaigns, custom set lists, online world tour mode and a drum trainer.
- RB2 will has more than 80 tracks. So far, the only tracks that have been revealed are:

- Online play will feature new game modes as well as a leader board.
