The time has come boys and girls. Strap on your power armor, huff some Jet and get ready to wait outside your local videogames retailer. Today Bethesda Softworks announced that Fallout 3 will be hitting North American stores on Oct 28. Europe will get their dose three days later on Halloween.

If you haven’t been following it; “Fallout 3 features one of the most realized game worlds ever created. Set more than 200 years following a nuclear war, you can create any kind of character you want and explore the open wastes of Washington, D.C. however you choose. Sony announces the PSP 3000

Today Sony officially announced that they are making a new PSP model. While the new PSP 3000 may look the same as the old PSP, don’t let that deceive you. The PSP 3000 is arriving with a new LCD screen that features “a wider color gamut and higher contrast ratio to deliver deeper, more vibrant colors, as well as anti-reflection technology so you can see the screen more clearly when playing outdoors.” It also has a built in microphone and comes with Skype.

The PSP 3000 will be arriving “later this year” and will be priced at $169.99. Not a bad deal if you ask me. I use my PSP all the time. There is no better way to kill time at work than sneaking off to the bathroom to sharpen up your Street Fighter Alpha 3 skills.
