Atari releases Ghostbusters tailer

Today Atari released an official trailer for the Ghostbusters videogame. While the trailer shows no real in game action, the cinematics looks pretty impressive. Personally it made my day to see Ray, Egon, Winston and Peter back in the saddle gunning down ghosts.

For those of you who don’t know, the Ghostbusters videogame takes place during Thanksgiving 1991, two years after Ghostbusters II. Due to a rapid rise in paranormal activity, the four original Ghostbusters need a hand. This is where the player comes in. Gamers will take on the role of a new Ghostbuster nicknamed “Rookie”. Throughout the game, the Ghostbusters will battle both new and old ghosts, including Vigo the Carpathian, Slimer, Gozer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Ghostbusters is being developed for the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Wii and DS.
