Today Activision confirmed that the long-rumored DJ Hero will arrive in stores later this year. Bobby Kotick, CEO of Activision, stated: “We have this product called DJ Hero coming out later this year, which is a turntable that you actually can play competitively and spin discs and mix songs,” during a CNBC interview.
The DJ Hero controller is suppose to be a turntable with three rhythm buttons and a cross-fader.
As someone who owns turntables and loves the art of mixing and scratching, I am both excited and appalled by this game. I am excited because it will get gamers interested in turntablism and I’m sure down the line we will have some great artists. On the other hand, I am appalled because DJing won’t nearly be as easy as the game will make it seem and there will be plenty of kids who waste tons of money on turntables, needles, records, etc. You have to have an ear for beats and an ability to keep count on several things at once. I guess it is like when real guitar players look at guitar hero.

Nobody can argue that Fallout 3 is a perfect game. No game is without its flaws. You know it and so does Bethesda. The good thing about Bethesda is that they take time to learn from their games flaws.
In a recent interview with MTV Multiplayer, Fallout 3’s executive producer, Todd Howard, discussed some things Bethesda learned from Fallout 3. Howard states, “Greatest lesson? Don’t let the game end, and don’t have a level cap.”
Those are probably the two biggest issues with Fallout 3. Some nit-picky things that I would like to see changed would be the melee combat. In the previous Fallout games you were able to target specific body parts when using melee weapons. If they added this into the next Fallout game, it would be a lot closer to that illusive perfect game.

According to a Dutch university graduate, World of Warcraft could be considered a world religion as it meets the four main criteria that determine whether something can be classified as a religion that French sociologist, Daniele Hervieu-Leger laid out. The four areas; community, ethics, emotion and culture are all something that you could associate with World of Warcraft. WoW currently boasts a subscriber base of over 11 million, which is a very healthy community indeed and the rules laid down by …
