Champions Online is changing its service from monthly subscription to free-to-play. Atari, Champions Online’s publisher has announced that they are switching to free-to-play sometime in the first quarter of 2011.

CoD1 is a really old game, but it seems that it is still not a dead one. It just came to our attention that there will be a tournament with awesome prizes in it. We were contacted few weeks ago by a member of the community who introduced us to this little scene. We felt honoured and thrilled at the same time and our decision was to invest something.
