GGL’s Haze tournament has kicked off with an inaugural match between Teflon Hearts and The Timesplitters. Teflon Hearts took the match, placing them squarely atop a ladder field of 37 teams.
The Haze tournament encountered some difficulties and delays, but is underway as of June 18.
You can still join the ladders for this 4v4 tournament until July 27. Visit the registration link to begin.
After a short delay, GGL’s Haze tournament is ready to begin today.
Haze, by Ubisoft, is a first person shooter with a novel game mechanic: players can take a special drug called Nectar to enhance their abilities temporarily, at the risk of suffering withdrawal symptoms after it wears off. The game is a PlayStation 3 exclusive (at least for the time being).

Contrary to yesterday’s statement, GGL’s Haze tournament has had its practice ladders extended until June 18.
Due to the newness of the game, we have decided to extend the registration period and practice ladders for another 2 weeks, to allow players more time to form teams and join the competition.
The practice ladders will be reset and the official competition will begin on 6/18/08, so in the meantime join the tournament (if you haven’t already), invite your friends, form your teams, and keep practicing for your shot to win $5,000.
