The GGL Wire and Epileptic Gaming crew is at the Crash Mansion nightclub in Los Angeles for the filming of Up All Night: Rock Band.

We’ll be filming for release next Wednesday, Jan. 30. For now, you’ll have to make do with special behind the scenes photos and footage from the shoot. Here are the first photos:

More assets from EA Mythic’s upcoming MMORPG, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning:

The popular Garry’s Mod for the Half Life 2 engine recently got updated, featuring support for Half Life 2: Episode 2 assets. Part of those assets include the Team Fortress 2 models and textures. Naturally, it didn’t take long for people to start posing the models in … inventive ways. Check it.

As GGL prepares for another season of Epileptic Gaming and even more quality shows to come (like “Up All Night”), we took the steps to improve our studio in which we broadcast out of. Take a look at the work in progress and make sure you tune in on Monday, Nov. 5, for the new season of Epileptic Gaming.

In honor of Halloween and Valve’s multiplayer masterpiece Team Fortress 2, GGL Wire decided to compile some of the TF2 costumes we’ve seen floating around the web.

The skill that went into making some of these costumes is great; what’s better, though, is that people are having such fun wearing them around. TF2 costumes differ from other “cosplay” by being … well, less geeky.

Of course, it’s tough to beef up like the Heavy Weapons Guy or get that Engineer’s lantern-jaw just right, but all of these are much, much better than some unfortunate […]

Today’s the first day of E for All, the event designed to replace the downsized E3 as the premier consumer videogaming event of the year. And after spending the day on the convention floor, I can tell you exactly how well it’s going in one word:

FAIL.

We’ll have more coverage tomorrow, and plenty of video coming up over the next few days. To hold you over, here are today’s photos.

One of the better features added to Halo 3 is the sharing of epic moments via screenshots. Some users over at NeoGAF have put together a thread of their favorite moments, so here’s a selection of some of the best they have over there. What’s your favorite? Also, if you have a shot you’d like to share, then feel free to post it below in our comments!

“Sam! Help me, Sam!” If you get that movie reference, then you win one free Internet. The Kiyomori Samurai Robot has a human-like stride, with stretchy knees, 39 joints, and a flexible hip — “so it doesn’t stagger like Tom Cruise just off a horse.” It participated in Shinto prayers for the “safety and progress of future robot industries.”

While we wait for the latest Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer to finish downloading and uploading for your viewing pleasure, we just so happened to snag some interesting photos from the newest video. We’re not sure what the story is behind this little guy, but isn’t he just the cutest little thing in the world?

GGL producers Chachi Ramirez, Hogan Carter and Rance Costa sent along these photos of the World Cyber Games USA finals. There’s more where that came from, by the way, and guess who gets to sort through them?
Enjoy the pictures.

I decided to go to Wired Magazine’s NextFest on a whim. I can get in for free as a journalist, and I figured there might be a couple of gaming-related items to see.

Welcome to the L.A. Convention Center.
Welcome to the future! Funny, the future looks just like E3. And the spaceport from Starship Troopers.

If you’re a huge fan of Ninja Gaiden or chopping off limbs while playing as a ninja, then you will absolutely love the new batch of Ninja Gaiden 2 screenshots that have made their way online. Check out some of the best body slicing you can get nowadays in videogames.
