Up All Night is a reality TV-style review show featuring a rotating cast of gamers with their own videogame tastes and perspectives. In a one-night session, how does a game rate? Is it fun to play with your friends? Is it worth buying? We’ll answer all these questions and more in every episode.
Visit the Up All Night GGL group on the brand new GGL.com to see our previous reviews of Halo 3 and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. All new episodes will also debut at the UAN GGL group, but will be also be posted to GGL Wire, Epileptic Gaming, YouTube etc.

GGL’s resident video producer Chachi Ramirez is sounding off about his year. Find out what makes this quirky, hairy, crazy video producer tick, and see his contributions to Epileptic Gaming daily on epilepticgaming.ggl.com.
It had been three years in making…my dreams of making movies had finally come true. Although everything in this statement is true nothing about the last three years had been dreamlike. When you are from a small town in Texas, Hollywood seems like a distant and unimaginable cosmos of money, women and fame. I would sit through all my years of High School hoping to someday visit that West Coast Wonderland.
Little did I know that my future trajectory would land me right in the middle of this place we all know as Hollywood. Fast forward five years after high school…I am sitting in an apartment on Beachwood drive editing a feature film, 500 feet away from me perched on the mountain side is the Hollywood sign. I was sure I had made it!
Fast forward another three years, I had just finished producing my third HD feature film in Los Angeles. I was sitting in a bar with my roommate/BFF with thirteen dollars in my pocket and a mind full of thoughts about when my next job will come. I turn to my friend Shane (BFF) and tell him if I don’t get a full time job soon I might give up and go home. He looked at me and said he had an idea… Read more »

Sunday:
I woke up at 8 AM. Chachi started busting my balls about getting the final version. I was pretty anxious to be done and I felt bad that I had to work with my friend visiting me. With 3 hours of sleep, I got up and finished the cut by noon. I was so happy to be done.
My friend Justin wasn’t sure if he was going to leave or not. He had dinner plans with the lady. I convinced to at least go to Other Music. He’s into buying records as much as me. We use to DJ together around LA. We walked over to DigitalLife and dropped off an external hard drive with the exported sequences. Sunday ended up turning out to be the best day I had in New York. We decided to walk from Jacob K. Javits to Other Music. Read more »

Saturday:
Saturday, I was in the room cutting again while everyone was at Digital Life. At this point, I was really looking to get out. I had been cooped in the room all week. I was to have the rest of the day off, as soon as the cut was finished. I just had to fine-tune the cut. My friend Justin was arriving at 6 pm and It was 10 am when i started. I pretty much cut up until he arrived. At that point I was 98 percent done. Chachi was back from DigitalLife and said it was cool to take off. Read more »

Friday:
I talked to my friend Justin that morning. Justin is an old friend from Michigan. To make a long story short, he came out to visit me in Los Angeles, just after I moved. He hooked up with the best friend of my ex-girlfriend. He moved to LA weeks later. 9 months ago he got Tara prego and then decided to move to Connecticut, outside of New York. I was pretty excited to hang out with my friend in NY. He was going to take a train into the city on Saturday. Read more »

Thursday:
Everyone left to DigitalLife early in the morning. I woke up at 9 am and immediately started cutting. I decided to run out and get some supplies early in the day. I knew I had a lot of work in front of me and I was a little panicked.
I didn’t want to spend too much time getting food. I went to one bodega and picked up some carrot juice and a fruit salad. From another, I bought fresh roasted almonds and chocolates. I went to this sandwich place and got a caprice. It was pretty rad…made to order. Read more »

The week of September 24th we went to New York City for a week to produce the DigitalLife $100,000 Pro/Am Tournament. That week we were also planning to launch the first episode of Up All Night. We took advantage of being in New York as the backdrop for the first episode.
The production schedule was going to be tight. The shooting had to be squeezed in before the start of DigitalLife. We took a redeye from LAX to JFK that Monday with six pelican cases full of gear (75-85lbs each). We arrived in New York in the wee hours of the morning on Tuesday. Read more »

Hello, my name is Donald Andrews. You may have recently seen me as “Mooka” on Epileptic Movies episode 142. I work behind the scenes at GGL as a production guy/ editor. I, professionally, have been working in a variety of media from film to broadcast news for ten years.
I am originally from a small in town in Michigan, where I grew up on a steady diet of Fruity Pebbles, cotton candy, and the Muppet Show. I have been living in Los Angeles for 4 years now. At the impressionable age of 10, I was given a PixelVision camera and shot my first movie. It was a soap opera about a vampire squirrel who liked to suck the blood from the neck of all the mom squirrels in the neighborhood. I have been making short films ever since. Read more »

It’s always a good time, so come check out the Up All Night group at GGL.com to watch the first two episodes, featuring Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii) and Halo 3 (Xbox 360).
