Hardware acceleration in Google Chrome

Both beta’s of Internet Explorer 9 and Mozilla Firefox 4 already support hardware acceleration, however it’s a new feature in Google Chrome 7. The main point of hardware acceleration is to make browsing faster, safer and more stable. Instead of the CPU, the GPU on the videocard will perform the calculations, and in result it should be much faster.
