Left 4 Dead 2 demo plans, new weapon

Valve’s marketing chief Doug Lombardi has confirmed that a multiplayer demo for Left 4 Dead 2 will be made available prior to the game’s release in November. Lombardi told Joystiq that the demo is planned for both the PC and Xbox 360 whilst those who pre-order the game will get ‘advanced access’. In the meantime, it has been reported that pre-order sales for Left 4 Dead 2 are currently double that of the original’s pre-order figures from the same time last year.
