Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix will hit in 2008

Ray Jimenez, associate producer on Capcom’s Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, has confirmed that the game will hit in 2008.

When? Jimenez can’t finger a specific day, saying only: “We are in the home stretch. We’re basically closing out all the bugs that came up in the open beta and a few other open issues.”

He added: “There were many issues with networking that got a lot of the help from the beta. We used the beta as a test bed to roll out new tech on our side and the beta identified what we were doing right and what needed to be adjusted.”

So there it is. SSF2T with updated graphics courtesy of UDON will be out this year. Personally, while I think this is great, Street Fighter IV is my holy grail.
