ARMA II to get standalone expansion

Today Bohemia Interactive announced a new ARMA II standalone expansion. Dubbed ‘Operation Arrowhead,’ the expansion will take gamers to the fictional Central Asian country of Takistan.

Players will be able to take on roles “from basic infantrymen, through special operatives, to pilots and tank crew,” as they help restore peace to the war torn country.

Marek Spanel, CEO of Bohemia Interactive, stated: “This will not only allow us to introduce a new and original theater of war… but also improve numerous areas of the core game, for both the original game and the expansion, where we can go even further with adding completely new features.”

As of now there is no price point or release date announced.
