Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and 1943 on the way
This morning EA developer DICE announced that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 1943 are currently in development.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be released early next year on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. DICE plans on delivering a “level of fervor to vehicular warfare never before experienced in a modern warfare action game.”
Battlefield 1943 is scheduled for release this summer on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. We assume that BF1943 is a budget-priced title because it can only be purchased via download. BF1943 is a multiplayer only title featuring 24 player action and three classic Battlefield maps, Wake Island, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima. BF1943 will be powered by Battlefield: Bad Company 2’s Frostbite engine. Be sure to check out the trailer above.
