Call of Duty: World at War DLC sets XBL records
Today Treyarch announced that its Call of Duty: World at War map pack has sold more than one million copies from March 19th through 22nd. That means within three days the map pack earned over $10 million.
Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch stated: “I’m proud that the team at Treyarch delivered an experience that so many people are enjoying. We’re excited that the success of Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 1 will continue to drive the popularity of the game’s Nazi Zombie mode, competitive multiplayer and chart-breaking success online.”
Microsoft confirmed that the map pack set a new record for first-week downloads on Xbox Live Marketplace.
