“First to Play” GoW 2 event announced

Two days ago I wrote about the new Gears of War 2 DLC. Today Epic Games announced that they will be holding a special “First to Play” event in Seattle, Washington, where gamers will get a chance to try out the new maps.

The event will be held May 15, at the Experience Music Project|Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame. The first 800 people to arrive will be admitted inside where there are 20 kiosks showcasing the new DLC.

The event will also feature a panel with Michael Capps, president of Epic Games, and Joshua Ortega, writer of Gears of War 2.

The new Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection DLC is slated to arrive July 28 and will cost you $20.
