House of the Dead: Overkill Collector’s Edition detailed
Today SEGA announced the contents of the House of the Dead: Overkill Collector’s Edition. In addition to getting the game in a special slipcase, the Collector’s Edition comes packed with a graphic novel titled “Prelude to an OVERKILL”. From what I can tell, the graphic novel’s art direction seems to mimic the style of Frank Miller while the story looks like something Robert Rodriguez penned.
The graphic novel gives gamers a little information as to why Agent Washington and Varla Gunns are mowing down endless hoards of the undead.
House of the Dead: Overkill will be released on the Wii sometime in 2009
I have always been somewhat of a sucker for the House of the Dead games. There is just something about fighting off the undead with a light-gun that is so satisfying. I can’t wait for this game to come out and give me an excuse to power on my Wii. As soon as an official release date is announced, you can be sure I’ll post it here.
