MechWarrior announced for Xbox 360 & PC
Jordan Weisman, co-creator of the MechWarrior series, confirmed that there is a new MechWarrior game in development.
Currently in development for the PC and Xbox 360, the new game, dubbed MechWarrior, is being produced by Piranha Games in collaboration with Weisman. The new title, developed using the Unreal Engine 3, will server as a reboot of the MechWarrior franchise.
More details are after the jump.
MechWarrior will feature a 1-4 player co-op campaign, as well as other multiplayer modes. Russ Bullock, president of Piranha, has stated that cross-platform play is “a large goal of ours.”
As of right now there is no official release date. As soon as there is, you can be sure I’ll post it here on the Wire.
