More info on C&C: Red Alert 3
A few days ago I posted a news item announcing Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 with the promise that I would get some more details for you guys. Today, I make good on that promise.
The story line of Red Alert 3 involves those damn Soviets playing around with time travel. While being horribly irresponsible, the Soviets inadvertently create a third super power, called The Empire of the Rising Sun (you get three guesses as to who this is). Red Alert 3 will take place during World War III, where the Allies, the Soviets, and the Empire are all at each other’s throats.
Sporting a co-op campaign mode, Red Alert 3 will make an appearance not only on the PC, but on the Xbox 360 and PlayStion 3 as well.
If you just can’t wait to get your hands on this game, EA is offering a Beta test version if you pick up a copy of C&C3: Kane’s Wrath, the up coming expansion to C&C3. Unfortunately the beta is PC only, so console gamers have to wait. Good thing I’m a RTS purist and only play them on my PC.
