NecroVisioN prequel in the works
Today publisher 1C Company announced that developer Farm 51 is currently working on a prequel to its demonic WWI shooter NecroVisioN.
Dubbed NecroVisioN: Lost Company, gamers will be thrust into the role of a German soldier during WWI who “discovers the evil forces unleashed by the war.” Gamers can expect to blast though hordes of various baddies ranging from zombies to dragons.

According to the press release, the game will feature:
- 10 new levels in the single player campaign
- 15 new characters
- 6 new weapons
- Variety of special weapon upgrades
- New drivable vehicles to use in the fight including the FT17 tank and Halberstadt CL.II airplane
- Several additional close combat techniques, spells and fatalities in single player
- New, unique multiplayer mode: Gas Attack
- 3 new maps and several new skins for multiplayer mode
- New visual effects like enhanced depth-of-field, soft shadows and new shaders with optimized renderer and data loading system.
NecroVisioN is currently in development for the PC. As of right now there has been no word regarding a release date. As soon as there is, you can be sure I’ll post it here on The Wire.
