Puzzle Quest: Galactrix arrives on XBLM next week
This morning publisher D3 announced that Puzzle Quest: Galactrix will arrive on Xbox Live Marketplace on Wednesday, April 8 and will cost you 1600 Microsoft Points ($20).
Developed by Infinite Interactive, Puzzle Quest: Galactrix takes the classic Bejeweled gameplay and gives it a sci-fi twist. Instead of battling trolls and towers, players will have to deal with space pirates and warp gates. Tiles are now hexagons, which mean they can me swapped in six direction. Gravity also plays a factor in the game. When you move a tile, the new tiles will fall in the same direction. This adds a new level of strategy to the franchise.
I have Puzzle Quest: Galactrix on the PC and must say it’s pretty fun. The hexagon tile and gravity change the gameplay up quite a bit. It is an absolute lie to say that Galactrix is just Puzzle Quest in space.
