Resident Evil 5 Director’s Cut detailed

Resident evil 5A week ago Capcom announced that it is hard at work making a Director’s Cut of Resident Evil 5. Today the company released some new details as to what will be included in the new edition.

Developed for the PS3 and Xbox 360, Resident Evil 5 Director’s Cut will allow gamers to play though Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine’s assault on Ozwell Spencer’s castle, shown at the beginning of the game. Capcom has stated that gamers can expect an extra two hours of gameplay from the new content.

According to Capcom, the new content is “too large to be offered as a download.” However, RE5DC producer Jun Takeuchi has stated in the past that Capcom “would not rule out being able to play the new episode between the two versions [original and re-release].”

As of right now there has been no official announcement pertaining to price or release date. As soon as there is you can be sure I’ll post it here on The Wire.
