Tournament.com, the site that let visitors play Counter-Strike for real cash, has shut down.

If you have money on the site, you only have until December 7th to ask for it back, and you can only get it as a PayPal payment.

The Tournament.com servers are temporarily offline. We have taken a step back to take a fresh view of our business model and have decided we need to change direction. We can give no guarantee as to when our service will resume.

You will not be able to access our website, your wallet or use the Tournament.com client.

The site launched in May, and acquired the exclusive rights from Valve for competitive use of Counter-Strike Source, which prompted cease and desist orders on other sites using the game.
