GGL’s Ace Combat 6 tournament has concluded its Battle Royale, bringing an end to the $15,000 Ace Combat 6 tournament.

The Battle Royale was originally conceived as an 8-man free for all (in contrast to the 2v2 tournament), but only seven players made it to the match. Here are the results:

1. Devin “D Ray 13th” Ray ($2,500)
2. Adam “SHART STAINS” Wheeler ($1,000)
3. Casey “INEVITABLE HERO” Coleman ($500)
4. Mike “AirWolF 13th” McFadden
5. Leslie “THEBOOGIEMAN83” Brown
6. Eric “vintage” Jung
7. Joseph “tulosten” Pramuka

Congrats to all the winners!

Hello, Ace Combat 6 fans! Your semi-finalists have been crowned!

As of yesterday, Jan. 3, four teams remain in the Military and Civilian brackets of our Ace Combat 6 competition. All four of them are headed to New York City for the televised finals on Gameplay HD.

Kato Arabel of the Twilight Eagles squadron sent us this awesome trailer showing off some Ace Combat 6 action. Twilight Eagles currently have two flight groups in GGL’s Ace Combat 6 tournament: the undefeated Military Ghost Wolves (8-0) and the Civilian Black Cats (5-8).

Registration for the tournament is open for the duration of the ladders, but there are only 20 days remaining to play. Hit acecombat6.ggl.com to register and get flying!

After eleven days of GGL’s $30,000 Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation tournament, one thing is becoming clear: Ghost Wolves (military) and Sins & Saints Alpha (civilan) own their respective ladders.

Ghost Wolves have reeled off an 8-0 record since the start of competition. Sins & Saints Alpha, meanwhile have a 21-0 tally and 3055 points. The second best civilian team, Les DeuxFeux, sports a 13-8 record and 2460 points.

These silent AC6 owners are a step ahead of the competition right now, and it remains to be seen if anyone can catch up. The good news (or bad news, depending on your perspective) is that the ladder system allows teams to leapfrog up places very quickly. If either team gets lazy, they’ll hit the deck.

It’s not too late to join the $30,000 Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation tournament. Registration is open for the duration of the ladder.

There are two ladders: A military ladder, which is open to current and former members of the U.S. armed forces, and a civilian ladder, which is open to all.

Hit the registration page to join, and get going!

We’re two days into the GGL’s Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation 2v2 tournament, but it’s still not too late to sign up! Registration is open for the duration of the ladders.

You can sign up for two ladders: a Military Ladder (open to current and former members of the U.S. armed forces) and a Civilian Ladder. $30,000 in cash and prizes are on hand for this tournament, and you can bet that the competition will be tough.

Ghost Wolves currently lead the Military Ladder with a 5-0 record, while Sins & Saints Alpha are owning it up on the Civilian Ladder with a 10-0 tally. Join them in battle at acecombat6.ggl.com.

Also, I’m seeing some reports that people are still having trouble joining the ladders. If you’re having issues, please contact a GGL admin on the GGL’s Ace Combat 6 forums.
