GGL’s Steven Palmer delved into the murky world of IRC to deliver this interview.

Let’s give a big welcome to Soulimano, player manager of globalteam.esports’ Crysis squad, champions of the Clanbase Crysis Beta cup.

GGL Wire: So first, Congratulations on winning your first Crysis cup, the first Clanbase Crysis cup and possibly the first Crysis tournament of all time. How does this achievement make you feel?

Soulimano: We are all very Happy. Happy to have won the first Crysis tournement, and happy because it’s our first Gold cup on an European challenge.

GGL Wire: What are your thoughts about this tournament? How did it run; was it enjoyable?

Soulimano: This tournement was very well supervised by Killerman; thanks to him. New rules about [frag totals deciding the winner] in case of draw, and new rules about rocket laucher were written in time to have a nice tournement. We didn’t have any conflicts or problems with other clans so we enjoyed the cup and had a lot of fun. Even during the finals, the fairplay was very pleasant between globalteam and [00]. Continued…



The ClanBase Crysis EU beta cup is almost into the quarterfinal stage, with only one tiebreaker group stage match left to go.

A few matches are already set for the quarterfinals.

Team 00 vs. ONE
sAng9 vs. MoS gsl
delta4 vs. GT

RetroActive vs. Tenax Gaming is the only group stage match remaining, and will see one team advance to the quarterfinal. All quarterfinal matches will be played on the map “shore” and go down Sunday, Nov. 4. Stay tuned for more updates!
